Kat Carrington is an Indiana girl with deeply country roots. She retired to South Carolina with her husband of twenty-seven years and discovered that her passion for reading had deepened into a passion for creating her own stories. Just as she always liked to read a wide variety of different types of books, she also likes to create a wide variety of stories of her own. What they all have in common is romance, sometimes sweet and steamy and other times dark and rough, but always with a happy ending.
Kat is a proud mother and grandmother, which made her simple country lifestyle a rich adventure. When she writes about dogs, gardening, cooking, or horseback riding those experiences come from her own family life. Now she pours the richness of those relationships into her characters. She has written eleven books and you can find her spinning tales over her laptop any day of the week.
