Adam by Starla Kaye
Braddocks Book 2
Faith had fallen in love with Adam, the oldest of the Braddock brothers, the gruffest, and the saddest. But his continued rejection has finally made her give up on him.
She is moving on with her life. She is taking over management of the mercantile, unfortunately next door to Adam's barbershop. And she is going to live over the store, also an annoying problem for him. Does she care? No. He had his chance with her.
Next she is planning to send out a flyer for a mail-order groom. Adam thought his previous marriage had been miserable, but Faith is driving him crazy. He doesn't want to ever get married again. Yet his attraction to the beautiful, stubborn redhead tests his decision almost as much as the woman does. She has no business moving out on her own, or running a store alone. He doesn't want to be responsible for watching over her, but he can't help it.
What she needs is a good, solid man to marry her and give her babies, and take her in hand.
He might finally burn her bottom for all of this nonsense, but no way is he going to marry her. So maybe he will find her a suitable husband and stop her from sending out that ridiculous flyer.
