Rodeo Roughies Collection by Patrica Green
This western cowboy collection features all four complete novels of the Rodeo Roughies Series including Rowdy, Bear, Cash, and Copper.
Rowdy – Book 1
After winning $900 million in the Mega Millions Lottery, single mom, Gretchen Nelson, is having a hard time adjusting to her new way of living. Being super-rich is a far cry from being homeless only the year before. Guarded night and day against kidnap and extortion attempts mean she and her daughter, Amy, are never alone. This constant scrutiny is wearing thin, so when Gretchen meets Rowdy Jackson, bareback rodeo champion, she pushes back against the restraints all that money places upon her so she can get to know him better.
Bear – Book 2
Barbie is a journalist for Real Rodeo TV. She travels to all the televised rodeos and looks to make her mark on the world. When given an opportunity to do in-depth interviews with rodeo stars, cowboys and other participants, in a live broadcast outside of the rodeo events, she jumps at the chance.
Her first interview is with bareback rodeo champion, Montana Bear Claw, a Nez Perce Native American who is low-key, charming and private. He flirts with her on camera and it flusters and flatters her all at the same time. As they get to know each other, a situation develops which throws them together in a more urgent way: who is murdering rodeo bullfighters?
Cash – Book 3
Sharon Harriman, songwriter and rodeo entertainer, is being stalked, but she can't quite believe it. Certainly, she's not important enough to merit a real stalker. Her fear grows when the notes and bizarre contacts, from her #1 Fan, become more frequent and threatening as she continues to ignore his affections.
Amon “Cash” Richey, a prominent rodeo saddle bronc rider, sees the danger in this situation and his interest in Sharon grows as he is drawn to protect her. Falling in love would be so easy. But Sharon's best friend, Riley, has called dibs on the handsome cowboy. As a result, Sharon's integrity prevents her from allowing Cash's affections.
Copper – Book 4
Miranda Gables is a rodeo photographer, traveling around to many events to take stunning pictures which are then published in promotions, programs, magazines, and used on TV. She's quite successful, but her family keeps her humble. Unfortunately, she's made an enemy. After taking one damning picture of a rodeo cowboy's animal abuse and getting him suspended for two years, it looks like his sister is out to get her. At first, it's petty vandalism, but it appears to be escalating.
Ty "Copper" Turner is a former Marine MP turned rodeo star. When he sees Miranda's problem developing, and false accusations being made against her, he takes measures to help. Copper steps in several times to protect her but knowing who the criminal is and proving it are two different things. Their relationship begins to grow and change and he discovers keeping her safe is the most important thing to him, as he intends to never let her go.
